Oracle Sessions at The Village

One ecosystem

Endz Jazz Soul

A saxophonist plays on stage under blue and violet lights.

Our own live night: artists from across the UK, each representing the sound of their area.

The collective

Members of the collective seated together in front of a patterned backdrop.

Artists, producers, musicians, educators, academics, creatives and cultural operators.

Film and media

A double exposure of a musician at a keyboard in a room with tall windows.

Photography, film, live recordings and conversations, from idea to final product, including our own productions such as Disrupting the Legacy with UCL.

Our story

The Oracle has developed organically from people making music, performing, teaching, producing and building community. It was not invented as an agency first and then sent looking for a culture to represent. The culture came first.

We have worked across grassroots culture and major institutions: creating Disrupting the Legacy with UCL, co-producing and curating Panafrica in Rhythm at the Barbican, performing at V&A East’s Music is Black Festival and bringing Endz Jazz Soul to COLORS Tones of London. A community jam and a Barbican commission can serve the same philosophy.

Culture should be shared, not gatekept.
